I received a knife from my grandpa which belonged to his dad. Does anybody know what it is?

I have a smaller knife of similar style and same materials. Mine is apparently a Kinsfolk, who marked their knives with only a blade etch that was easily worn off.
Perhaps yours is a Kinsfolk as well? Better pictures of the tang area and sheath decorations would be helpful. No offense, but it looks like you used a cell phone in less-than-ideal lighting conditions. If a cell phone camera is all you have, try laying the knife on a flat surface outside in the shade.

Best luck in your quest.

It looks like a Western to me, my brother has a similar one he used working at a nursery.

Looked at my buddies knife again today. I took pics but tapatalk won't let me post 'em. His knife is absolutely identical. The blade is marked:

SCHRADE-WALDEN
N.Y. U.S.A 147
STAINLESS
