Name? Not technically. Specs? That I can help with.

Mine has a 6 inch blade. 1 1/4 wide blade. OAL is approx 11 1/4 inches.

You might be able to find one. They were referred to as Desert Jacks due to the fact that they resemble the Busse Satin Jack. So far they were only a limited release in tan. With the revamping of the line I don't even know if it will be released in this configuration.
Good luck in your search.

Hey Batrachian,

Welcome to the Rat Forum.

As Hank said, it hasn't really been released yet. However, there was a short run of them made in all tan, called the "Desert Jack".

Here's the specs on that blade taken from http://www.swampshack.com...

Blade Steel Blade Length Overall Thickness Handle
SR101 6" 11.5" 3/16" T/Canvas Micarta

Desert Jack - Released 2005

These are part of a small military overrun and will only be available for a very short time. . . Sheath is not included. The Desert Jack has an overall length of 11.5” and features a 6” blade of 3/16” thick differentially hardened SR-101. The handle is Tan Canvas Micarta. These were released just prior to the opening of the Company Store.

Here's a pic...

Optanotu,

Welcome to you as well!

I hope you guys stick around. With the announcement of upcoming changes, I think this is going to be a good place to be, very soon. :D

man, i hate seeing those 'production' photos with rows and rows of knives i missed out on. :(

they are gorgeous, though.

and in the tradition of another site i have frequented for some time now...

+1!

That knife is exactly what I'm looking for, and I'll bet I'm not the only one. SW would be smart to sell it as regular production.

yessir, the hog's version is apparently quite popular as well. not as big as the ratweiler, but bigger than the SAR Rat. pretty good all around blade.
