What is this part of a knife called?

I'm referring to the little cylindrical bar that rests against the the blade when it's fully open and locked. I'm guessing it's a way to mitigate the force on the liner lock when using in a stabbing motion? I like it but I have no idea what it's called :)

Thanks :) I thought it was added security because I have other liner locks without it... but I can see now they have a stop that's machined out of the liner instead.

A lot of makers do the hidden stop pin.......Cleaner look maybe....🤔......I dunno?
You tend to notice them when their there and not when their not.😜.....At least me anyway...😉
