Going to try to attach a photo. A friend brought this knife into work for me to sharpen and I was just wondering what it is. Thanks.

I can't figure out how to load an image on this site. Going to walk away before I throw my phone into oncoming traffic.

Native with stainless handle. Good knife but the stainless handle can be slippery. The one I had was very stiff opening as well.

Upload your image somewhere else and link it or embed it.

See if you can private message me the picture

Hello. These instructions might help.:)

If you're looking for a photo hosting/posting site, tinypic.com is pretty straightforward.

Use the Choose File button to select a photo on your computer, add tags or use resize options if you want, then click the green Upload Now button. In the next window copy the url and tags under IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards and paste that into your reply here.

Edited to add that I just noticed you said phone. These instructions may not help. My apologies. I've never used tinypic from a phone.

You need to use '[IMG']' before the image and '[/IMG]' after. Note the forward slash in the after bracketed one. Don't use the single quotes. Or just post the URL here so we can see it and one of us will have it show up as an image.

Native 2, SS, most are AUS-10, fewer than 500 are VG10

If the former, it will be marked "AUS-10 Stainless" on the side other than shown.

(a much larger pic could also be linked from flickr)

Need mo' Smart water for pic posting, j/k

BTW, a tip to find missing images: (one way to try)

right click on the page, select "show page info"
click on "Media" tab
scroll thru media selections and use preview pane to find likely image in question
check for an appropriate file extension as part of the URL to copy (e.g. jpg, png, etc)
Copy, paste and go in another tab to check your work

use the discovered URL for your link (including file extension) and psot with the IMG tags as above

(This method will usually work even if the site won't let you then right-click and "copy image location")
