What is this steel? AEB-L

I have a hard time finding information about this swedish steel. I think it's used in razor blades. I remeber reading somewhere that it is very tough; a stainless steel that is very close to carbon steel in its properties. Is this true? Is it any good for knives? I know some swedish knifemakers use it.

Esav, thanks for the link. Some good info. I did a search on this a while back and couldn't come up with much, not even at the Uddeholm website. Sounds like a good steel for knives.
