I just got a ZT 0560, and the detent is a lot looser than I expected it to be. it actually opened itself in my pocket.

can the ball bearings get damaged if the picot screw is tightened to much?

Sogflash-my take on it is, if you tighen the pivot screw and you can open and close the blade it will not damage the bearings. Personal preference on how hard or easy it will open with no side play. I've taken both my 560/561's apart andd geased the bearings and when I tighten them back up i snug the pivot until the blade will not move, and then loosen it until-I hold the knive with the blade up and holding it with my thumb and fore finger and i can just give the scale and ti lock alittle nudge and the weight of the knife will almost completely open. Also i find the sweet spot were there is no blade side play. I'm sure there are others will chime in, but mine are buttery smooth and just absolutely love the 560/561 and the 550/551 for that matter.

Don't forget to clean the old lock tite off of the pivot screw and use moderation on putting some blue lock tite back on, it'll keep the pivot were you ajust it.
