My dad called a Fireman's Hatchet when he gave it to me but I'm having a hard time finding info on it wondering if any of you may no more about it and also it just so damn cool I figured I'd share with you all
USAF rescue hatchet. For chopping through aluminum aircraft skin and frame. The handle is insulated from electrical input. I think mid WWII through the 1950's. I don't recognize the logo/maker's mark.
