What is this thing? found it in my buildings basement. I thought it was an intense pasta press or meat grinder, then took a closer lookI know this is off topic, but I really don't know anyone else who may know.

It looks kind of like a sheet metal bead roller.

Yes its a goldsmiths rolling mill and has many uses,flat stock and wire
It will make rolls and also flatten stock and make it thinner .
Check the exchange I saw someone looking for one recently ?
And if it is good quality they are not cheap ,

exactly I've used those a lot thinning out stock or turning bar to wire and reducing sizes.

Cool. It was working as much as it all the gears turned smoothly when I cranked it. I don't have a gold membership but if you guys know someone that wants it, I can go down later and try to grab it. Not sure how much they're worth, but I wouldn't really be looking to make cash, more about helping someone out. It was also way to heavy to ship.
