i was lookin thru some knives earlier and noticed this....
is it for a second defected knife?...or are there other reasons for the 2 circles,and 2 xx on rear tang stamp?
just curious as to it's legit,or not?

Your knife is a Schrade Walden 897UH, made in the early 1970's.
The "XX" indicates Schrade rejected it from the Factory, making it a "Second".
