Has anyone else seen this?

Mick snuck it into the "what's new" forum. Looks like the new design he's been working on with a handle that is very different for Strider. I like it. Prefer the cord-wrap, but it's cool none-the-less.

Any ideas?

It's a Mick Strider custom. See the blade marked with "M. Strider" rather than "Strider"? Mick is doing some full custom designs lately. I love that blade profile and grind! I wonder how much...

lot's more of customs coming from both Mick and Duane in the comming months.

these pieces will be solely authored by each of them, featuring details and focuses specific to their tastes.

i am sure we will be hearing more about them from both Mick and Duane very soon.

Patrick,

What's the latest word on the collaboration piece & the two new un-named models shown with the picture with the new axe? Delivery? Prices?

our TK collab with the Strider guys is in the works. the first ones wil be off to the laser blade blank cutters this week. we have revised the pattern slightly for a better forward thrust line and choked back the thumb ramp for a more grip leverage, otherwise the same look overall.

we will have several handles styles as listed on our site plus we are now adding a version with the new Strider blade coat. this is the latest black boron carbide finish with an after coat of harden epoxy.

the next TKb and TKl will follow in subesequent runs.

Mick's first batch of customs is right around the corner.

from what i understand the Axes are a still bit of time off but they should start to trickle out "soonish" too. Strider has 2 proto's right now which were at BLade.

Not quite sure who is getting the first batch but we do have them on order.
