No marker on the blade? Looks like one of those "damascus" fleabay knives.

Could be wrong though.

No markings. Doesn't feel "cheap", but don't know a lot about traditional knives. Given to me by my dad, but not sure where he got it.

If it's old it might not be a cheapy then. If you google search your first image you will get similar looking knives, which most popped up fleabay but other reputable brands too didn't see anything exactly like it though.

I would definitely guess an inexpensive import from Pakistan. The fit and finish looks even worse than that though, so I’m wondering if it wasn’t a homemade affair using imported parts, or a kit. If it is from a kit it would have been a fun project for someone.

I want to hop back in here to say that its value lies with the fact that your dad gave it to you. If knife snobs like us look down our snoots at it, that’s our problem, not yours. If you like it, that’s all that counts. Your dad may also have acquired it under some memorable circumstances or something.

Not worried if it's worth anything or not. Was just curious about it. Can definitely tell it's not "top shelf". Will make a good letter opener.
