Howdy,

New to the forum. What the heck is this? Edge closest to the tape is sharp, not a saw.

Ok
So a buddy showed me this “ knife”

Factory made , stamped with anvil and “Genuine” over the stamp

Roughly 11” inch blade

Point/End of blade at roughly 30 degree “ sheared” angle

Knife has conventional 2 rivet wood handle

And rising up from that another matching two rivet wood handle

Blade roughly 2 1/2” thick and either nickel or chrome plated

I called anvil mfg And it’s not theirs

Guesses so far are some kind of meat cutters breaking knife or wood froe

Any help appreciated

Never seen a two handled knife/tool with that oddball directional configuration.
I'm guessing it must be something task specific.
Hope someone can identify it.

Yep it’s a two way froe. Interesting I’ve never seen one before like that.
