I thought the newbies might get a kick out of this. Made with files and sandpaper, HT in my own forge and oven, no machines except for my dying $50 drill press. I call it the "Kiridashi Tac." Kiridashi are traditional Japanese styled woodworking knives; this one takes the issue further with a double edge. I will carve those screws to pretty them up. Hope you like it. Thanks. Jason.

Certainly not a classic Kiridashi blade, but it looks great just the same. I like the sheep horn.

And thanks for posting this Jason, I don't know how many people I've tried to make understand (in vain) that you don't have to have a $50,000 shop to make clean knives....although it would be nice!
