You need read thru Google more.

Toledo, Spain. Old world sword & cutlery manufacturing center. Similar to other famous steel centers such as Sheffield, England; Solingen, Germany; Seki, Japan; Thiers, France.

Toledo is to Spain what Sheffield is to England, Seki City is to Japan, and Solingen is to Germany. Historic cutlery centers of the regions, dating back centuries. You'll often see references to "Toledo Steel" (just as you do "Solingen Steel"). For centuries, some of the best swords in Europe came from Toledo, as they made some of the best steel. Thus, you'll see "Toledo Steel" used as a kind of marketing device, even though it doesn't refer to any specific alloy or process of steel.

EDIT: CWL types faster than I do.

Toledo is a center province of Spain. From the xv-xix centuries make the most fine swords of europe. I know that same oficers swors from independence war was made in toledo. Sorry my bad english
