What is Trolling?

That was originally posted in an irrelevant thread and I moved it here.

I looked over your earlier posts and I see you dredged up a four-year-old thread in the Political Arena by posting something in it that doesn't seem to have been relevant even to that thread. Then you posted this question in a thread about technical computer problems. I think you're probably just a confused newbie rather than a troll.... Briefly, a troll is someone who does things like that deliberately to annoy people. Some people deliberately try to start arguments on the net and even try to interrupt an ongoing discussion by starting an irrelevant argument in the middle of it. It takes all kinds to make a world....

Don't post a reply to a thread unless it's a relevant response to that topic. If you want to start a new discussion start a new thread.

It pays to do more reading than posting especially when you're new to a forum. :cool:
 
thanks for the input guys.

i understand a little now. i really meant no harm and did not check the date on the old thread. i only posted because it was so alien to my world that i hardly commprehend the subject matter. the right to bear arms is not a reality in my world.

the feild guide to trolls was most enlightening ;)
