What is Turbo mode?

Hello,
I recently ordered a thrunite neutron 2c v3 and saw that it had a turbo mode of 1100 lumens.
What does turbo mode mean? Is it just a marketing gimmick? I've heard it only works on full battery and only for a little while? Any insight would be great.

Cheers,
Hector

It's pretty self-explanatory. Multi-level flashlights will typically have low/medium/high (or something like that), and some will have an additional "turbo" mode which gives you full brightness beyond the sustainable "high". It's good for short bursts, like for seeing what went bump in the night. Full or near-to-full battery is needed because of the extreme amount of juice it needs and drains. Some flashlights have a time-out mode (like 30 or 60 seconds) before it drops down to the "high" level to prevent overheating, some have heat-protection and it'll drop automatically when/if it gets too hot.

Thanks I ended up contacting thrunite and they said the light will drop to 90% at 7 minutes and 60% at 9 minutes and will be fully usable once its cooled down.
