What is turnaround time on Buck 'spa service'?

I have two knives I want to send in for the 'spa service' -- early examples of the 110 and 112. How long does it usually take to get them back from Buck?

I'm wondering because I plan to move in early June. So if I ship them off now, will I get them back at my current address before I move?

I would call and ask. Historically October thru the end of the year is the worst time to send anything. This time of year I'd be surprised if it took more than 2-3 weeks but you never know what they may have going on with Blade and other events coming up.

We are running about a 4-5 week turn right now. Send with my name on the package and I will make sure they get turned before you move for you.

Jeff

I'm happy to get the knives the spa treatment at Buck and get back in the mail same day.

Yep, I just sent in two small folders and one large folder for some repair and it took 5 weeks to get them back.

I sent my 112 in at the beginning of 2016. I still have all the paperwork. The USPS receipt from when I sent my 112 out shows a date of 1/21/2016. The Picking List sent back with the 112 has a date of 1/29/2016. The date on the box that they shipped it in has a date of 2/12/2016. I would have received the box a couple days later. I hope that helps in some way.

Just thought I'd post a quick followup. I sent the two knives to Jeff's attention at Buck. He was away when they arrived but I got a personal phone call from another employee who assured me they could do the spa service on these knives within a week.

Well, that's exactly what they dis and today the knives arrived back in my mailbox. And boy, don't they look lovely:

So happy to have these done before my move. So thanks again to Jeff and the Buck crew for getting these done so fast!

Looks great the folks at Buck did a very good job on them.

A return to former glory, they look great once again. The wood on that 112 is especially nice. Congrats.
