What is up with all the missing pictures?

Hey all, since I am fairly new, one of the things I have been doing is going over older threads, looking at all the great things people have done with their Beckers, the different mods, and even the different vanity shots of them just out in the woods.

One thing I have noticed though is a disturbingly high ratio of missing pictures. First one I noticed was the Landshark modification thread, and after reading some more I see that he had reasons for removing all his pics, which I get. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Then I start looking in other threads, and there are a ton of others where you see that horrid Photobucket image of "The video or image is no longer available" or whatever jive that thing says.

What is up with that? I LOVE seeing the pictures everyone posts of what they do with their knives, both the activities and the mods, but then you get those with a big build up and then a huge let down when the pics are dead and gone. I wanna see em!

What do you guys say?

people do what people do.

photohosting free sites often have limits. people delete older content.

photohosting otherwise is not free, costs money. people stop paying, or they lose interest, or the move on.

welcome to the internet. always changing. never (rarely) permanent.
