Maybe a stupid question cause all I see is safe queens. No users.

Does anyone actully use their Lionsteel SR-1A for hard use?.. or the ti version?

And if there is a problem where do we send the knife back for warranty repair? Overseas?

Turn-around time?
Shiiping costs?
What is covered?
Any common things that are known break easily?

What is the LionSteel warranty like? It seems to be pretty standard to me. Compare it to the warranty from another well-known manufacturer of high-end knives:

"This knife is guaranteed for life. It is designed for a specific purpose. Should this knife fail after purchase by original user, due to faulty workmanship or materials, such defects will be made good free of cost. The right is reserved to make good such defects either by repair or replacement. This guarantee does not cover natural materials, incorrect applications, neglect or abuse. Any modifications that are made to the knife after it has left our workshop will void this guarantee."

If anything, the LionSteel warranty is broader than the example I quoted in that it appears to follow the knife rather than the "original user". But in both instances, "abuse" is specifically excluded from coverage. What constitutes "abuse" and how it differs from "hard use" are, of course, open to interpretation. But a wise person might choose to err on the side of conservatism. When it comes to deciding whether or not to apply a warranty, it's the manufacturers' definitions that count.
