I'm just wondering what is/was the widest Busse? I'm specifically looking for width across the blade, not blade thickness.

Thanks in advance. :)

PS: I already did a SEARCH.

off the cuff....

mexadon axe

SH axe

CHuckette

Killa zilla

FFBM

My apologies for not stating such, but I meant regular production knives only. :)

I have to go look some of those up too........

EDIT: I looked up the Chuckette. Um, holy crap does that look mean. :D

Not sure how you define "production", but I'm thinking MOAB, Zilla, FBM's probably in that order.

My apologies again for not being clear.....I don't post here very frequently.

By "production," I mean those knives that are made in decent quantities and offered from time to time on the Busse site.

Some examples of what I would consider a "production" model would be the BM, SH, and BA, whereas I thought, say, the MOAB was a $1500+ custom knife?

I think I am confused because some models LOOK really wide (like that retro-design Steel Heart...the ASH?), but I thought maybe that was just a result of their length-to-width ratio?

Now I'm going to go see what the Zilla looks like...... :)

Actually, base price on a MOAB is $2197.00 -- they're a custom shop release, but considering the price have been made in surprising (at least to me) quantities. I checked one of my FSH and a Military Overrun (#72) FBM; they were also both at 2-inches wide.
