What is worse? Being introduced to CRK or BladeForums.com?

Approximately one year ago I was introduced to my first Large 21 Sebenza; I fell in love. I have ordered 14 knives since then and have quickly become addicted. I am told I need to find a CRK anonymous group and instead I found bladeforums CRK discussion board.

Since then and after seeing many of your wonderful collections I have ordered more and seem to be increasing in my desire for all things CRK. I was looking for help and got sucked back in again. Is there any stopping this desire?

I really enjoy my collection, but reading all your wonderful posts make me desire more and more.

Any help would be appreciated?
 
Dude. My story is almost exactly the same but started with a small sebenza about 2 months ago. Now I'm hopelessly scanning bladeforums and waiting for a good deal on a used Large...In the meantime I have picked up a ZT 0560, 0550 and a Kershaw Knockout. I can't seem to stop....There is no HELP, only understanding....
 
If you are posting in this forum, I am sorry to say that it is probably already far too late for help! Like most .... I'm speaking from personal experience!
 
Eh why stop?:D My fourth is coming tomorrow and I only started a couple months ago:thumbup:
 
Since last year I purchased Large 21 serrated, Small 21 w African Blackwood, Another Large 21(just in case something happened to my first), Small 21, Large 21 w Snakewood, Large 21 Spirograph w ebony, Umnumzann, Nyala, Pacific, Professional Soldier, Managed to track down a Project 1, Project 2 and Mountaineer 2. I have a large dog paw and a Lisa custom original on order. CRK to knife enthusists seems to be like crack, just can't get enough!

I really never had this problem with Benchmade, who makes a wonderful blade.

May really need to start a CRK support group.

Thanks for your help, but it appears I am screwed.
 
I ordered my first large sebenza 21 blue single lug six weeks ago, and I just put another order in for a large 21 silver lug.
 
6 in 3 months, 7th on order...
I'll take it... I mean... Sign me up for the support group pleaseeeeeeeeeee...
 
I have the answer to this question..

Bladeforums for the first year or so is worse!!! You will enjoy many different knives and makers.. You will probably buy a CRK, and sell it in your first year. After 20-50 knives go thru your fingers, a little light bulb will go on" Why did I sell that Sebenza?"

I really liked that one the best.... then you are screwed!! At that point CRK is the worst addiction (next to alcohol) on the planet..
 
it's not so bad, there are more dangerous things like smoking, drinking, being on drugs...
CRKs are a much better time consuming-mind occupying hobby :D and at least you didn't choose S&W or chines knives but good ones :thumbup:

not so lucky on my side, only 5 in a year (not much work and mid-low wages here.....)
