What is wrong with the Scrapyard Forum?

Anyone else finding it difficult to enter this forum? I keep getting a "too busy" message for the server....

Working fine here for me, but there have been some posts on the forum about folks having trouble connecting sometimes.

I was able to finally get on, but lately I have been getting that message.

Well I can get in but not log in.....frustrating....

Network Error (tcp_error)

ISP issues? i remeber clearchannel issues with my friend not long ago....

If you're on Windows, you might try clicking the Start button, selecting Run..., type cmd and click the OK button for a "DOS box" and type:
ipconfig -flushdns

then hit the <Enter> key. You should see:
*****
Windows IP Configuration

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
*****

I don't think Scrap Yard has changed their IP address, but flushing your DNS cache will make your computer go out and lookup the address for www.scrapyardknives.com instead of using whatever you may have cached locally. It may not help, but it's easy and to the best of my knowledge, it can't hurt.

you could go into your browser options and clear your cache.

Well I am into the forum but when I try to move around or alter my profile info I still get the message that the server is too busy....it seems like the system is on the edge of oversubsrciption?

Heck, I can't believe it's Tuesday afternoon and not one of you dingbats have gotten their Scrapper 5LE yet. I'm still waiting for the first hit on the XC. I've got 9:32pm EDT tonite in the pool. I'm counting on you guys.

They charged some of us last week, but knives didn't actually begin to ship until yesterday. I think it's possible that I'll receive my S5LEs tomorrow.

Peter, there's something going on with your computer or ISP -- I'm getting page loads within a couple seconds of clicking links over on Scrap Yard. I've gotten a couple strange messages when I've spent a while composing a post, but otherwise, its been quite responsive.
