As you fine gentlemen have probably noticed I like to make small polls and read about your preferences and why you are more inclined towards one thing or another..

Here is one of those again.. I have a few pictures from knives I have or have had at one point or another.. I would like to know which is your favorit? and why?.. who knows there may be a giveaway born from this some day in the near future.

Old Timer 34OT

Out of the ones pictured, I'd have to go with the Case Texas Jack. Why????.........Looks and function.

It is a close toss up between the Case Texas Jack and the Old Timer.

The Case is prettier, but the way Schrade did their 1095 was almost magical in terms of the edge you can get on them.

Those all all nice, I am intrigued by the grohmann but I don't think it is carbon steel, so I would go with the case Texas jack or 34ot myself.

That Grohmann Slimline ....... because it looks like the knife my son (8) bought for himself on our recent trip to Italy. I still regret not buying a matching one for myself.

The Vic for me. It's the closest thing to the one I carry(electrician). I think the silver alox is really cool looking. I've never found bone handles appealing. Plus, the tools are some of the best designed for a pocket knife IMO. Not to mention the high level of fit and finish that Vic puts out. I keep thinking that I'd prefer to have one with 154cm blades but then I realize the edge holding is more than enough for what I use it for. And I use it multiple times a day.

Visually, I'd say that Grohmann. Bareheaded wood, clean lines, just a beautiful knife.
For function, the Texas Jack. Secondary blade, CV steel, though also good looking.

Took the words right out of me....+1 I really like the U.S.A. made Schrades.

I would take the Schrade Old Timer... why?

Fits wonderful: Old Boy = Old Timer !!! We are both out of a time, far far away, and both we have a good portion of "patina" :)
