We all get a deal of the day at times. Wether its from the forums, that big auction site, FB group pages, etc. I have been fortunate to get some over the years in my CRK buying. SO.......What is your CRK STEEL Of The Day....???? Lets share and tell out stories....!!!
I will start off.........
This was an ( That BIG Auction Site ) Steel of the Day a couple weeks ago ( just arrived today) . Little did I know how special it was. It's an old small regular CGG Pheasant Tail for starters. The slab side has a B97 stamping, did not realize the pheasant tail was that old. The lockside has no date code, which predates it. The washers are small on both sides. I have seen this in the past as this was when CRK was still evolving the Sebenza. Only ever seen this on the small though, not on the larges. Blade is also unmarked and is BG-42. It has that nice polish luster the old BG-42's had. Ti is well worn and smoothed over from years of carry. Blade is centered and lockup is about 80%. It's a user, no safe queen here. It was dirty as hell and it took me some time to carefully disassemble it. I think it still had some of the 97' dirt in it....lol. It's all cleaned up and spiffy now. No clip, but I have several to add should I choose. Can always add a clip insert as well. For now, I like it the way it is.
