Being new to collecting knives Im curious what are peoples Dream Knives? If you could get any knife ever made regardless of price, rarity, or age , what is it that you would Love to own or dream of having?

A custom Emerson UBR Commander with a .160" M390 blade and .125" Ti liners (plural), drilled and tapped for L/R tip up carry.

I'm not big on huge price tags for Knives. I could never see myself spending more the $500 on a single knife let alone upwards of $1000, and even that $500 to me seems high. Around $300 is probably my limit. (There are just so many other things I would buy with that kind of $ to spend; new chainsaw, gun, the list is tremendous).

Anyways, the 2 "high end" Knives I see myself acquiring are a Wilson Tactical RRX, with cocobolo inlay, and a David Boye Prophet in (d)440c with a real nice etching from Francine's... Both around $300...

My dream knife is the one I've been carrying all year...the Brad Southard AVO midtech.
It's everything that I want, and much more than I actually need. Great folder.
Of course, that doesn't stop me from looking...

Probably the only good thing about being a "prohibited person" ... that I don't have that black hole to suck more money AKA guns.

:p

Yeah, they do get pricey. Moreso then Knives. Then bullets to keep 'em loaded become pricier then stones and such to keep your Knives sharp... I actually haven't bought a new one in a while, been all bullets (and Knives, lol), but I have been eyeballing a kimber 1911 .45 for a while now; can't justify it, (or I could go without knife purchases for 6-8 mos., but if I had an extra grand to spend.......

I want the first ever milspec CQC-7, serial 001, that was presented to SEAL Richard Marcinko in the early 90s.

Anyone have his phone number?

The hanzo steel, of course.

Forget the Hanzo steel- I like the chick wielding it...Lucy Liu...yowza! :D
Sorry, I digress. My grail knife was a CurtissF3.
Just got my hands on 3 days ago- think I'm good for a while!

Also, check out Ferrum Forge- I got a FortisB recently.
It's slick, built like a tank and comes back asking for more.
One of the best flippers around, flips more solidly than a Curtiss, and that's saying a lot.

River of Fire damascus INFI HHFSH with mammoth bark handles. Two of them, so I could use one like crazy and still have one hung up on a wall. Also, I would need some reason to never be able to sell it, because the cost would be absurd and I wouldn't really be able to justify such an expensive knife.

Cold Steel Voyager X2 in Plain edge and VG-1. Been six months searching the web, the bay and everywhere to find one. But I just can't.

Halo 5 Splash oh goodness do I want one! Red and grey pattern is the one too! Problem is finding it, so few were ever made plus I probably couldn't buy it once I found it but one can dream.

probably some ancient knife from thousands of years ago from ancient egypt or babylonia or something.

My dream knife will always be the next Darrel Ralph or Reese Weiland that I'm waiting on.

I would get a custom OTF from Jeff harkins. Its my #1. I know Ill probably never land one and it hurts like hell. Actually make that my number 0 seeing its my "never gonna happen" knife. Gotta reserve #1 for a possiblility, lol.
