I've owned a few PM2s in the past, but have not had one for a while. I'm looking for one in premium materials and I'm curious what's currently out there, or coming soon. Which ones are your favorites or most anticipated?

The recently released Fradon Lock Elmax Marbled Carbon Fiber exclusive, Checks all the boxes for me! I have many others that are up there as well.

I picked up one in S45VN and the Micarta with CruWear. The CruWear sold out pretty fast even though it's a regular production now.
I like S45VN, it holds an edge better than S30V.

Has to be the Cruarta.

^That’s a beauty, but already sold out.
I was thinking secondary market, Specifically on Blade Forums exchange!

Available now for retail, I'd parrot the Cruwear Micarta version, Nice materials and unique for a production piece. There's some Fat Carbon coming from SMKWs and Red, Orange, And Black Aluminum BHQ incoming down the road too.

Why did you have to remind me about the aluminum? I was on a hot streak for No Knife February. Back to square one now.

I like everyone of them. For different reasons obviously, but this is gonna be hard.

DLT has purple G-10 satin Cruwear coming too which shouldn't be too hard to get. Cutlery Shoppe has REX45 PM2s still available as of yesterday too.

Blades we love on ebay does some nice titanium scaled pm2s...with s45 no less...current favorite is black dlc blade with plain black titanium scales. Its a terrific knife, weight is perfect. Have a flomascus ti one from him as well, and its a show stopper. Great feel and the action is spectacular.

Personal favorite is Maxamet, the edge retention makes it a lot of fun to carry and use.

I also enjoy the blade finish, and personally really like the gray g10. In my opinion, Maxamet picks up a beautiful patina over time as well.

The crucarta is also a special knife, unique and makes a nice user.

The Crucarta is interesting, but Maxamet will be the most different from anything else I own. A Para 2 with Maxamet seems like it would be a great match. But... now that I've made up my mind, I see that they are out of stock everywhere.

I've been reading up on REX45. Sounds like that could be another option. Quite a bit less expensive than the Maxamet PM2 as well. Not sure I love the different colored scales, though. Aftermarket always an option I guess.

One good thing is the PM2 has plenty of aftermarket scales available from a lot of different people. If you're not into the scales on a particular version you can always swap them.

I'm with you, I do not find the different colored scales on that rex 45 very attractive.

Maxamet is working for me. I did a pre-order for the micarta Cruwear at knifecenter almost a year ago. Still would like to try one day but will likely cancel. They do seem to pop up on other sales sites but it looks like you need to be quick to pick one up.
