what is your favorite DMT duo

Geoff
I perfer the coarse/fine model, and wish they would make a medium/fine model. The coarse works well when the edge has been chewed up. In no time at all, you can have all the chips, dings, and gouges out. The fine is great for resharpening after routine cutting, and to smooth out a reprofiled edge. If I'm away from the house, I got a folding DMT somewhere in my kit. I'm not sure how it would work on some grinds, but it's great on flats.
I never sharpen a knife to the hair popping stage, i like a bit of a toothy edge, the DMT will do both.

I chose the fine/extra fine for most of my sharpenings. This is the one I carry in the feild. It puts a hair popping edge on all my blades. It doesn't remove nicks as fast as the coarse but those can usually wait until I return home.
