What is your favorite Emerson knife you own.

CQC-7V, I absolutely love the tan slightly thicker scales and the size is perfect.

Of the 10 Emerson's I own, the Desert Roadhouse is probably second.

I also have *4* CQC-11's but I don't EDC those and may sell one in the next week. (I also have a brand new UBR Commander & a brand new Super Commander with both green and black scales for sale if anybody is interested).

Mini commander. I've been thinking about getting some veff serations put on it.

First it was the 10, then the Persian, then the customized 7. I'll say the 10, since the Persian freaks people out and limits my carry, and while the 7 is amazing the 10 just outperforms it.

Commander. Just something about it, I really don't even know what it is.

That's a tough question but I would have to say my 10. The mini Com if more comfortable but the 10 ain't no slouch in that department and prefer it's blade shape. My answer may eventually change though.

Mini CQC-7... Im thinking of getting others, Commander, Full size CQC-7, Mini A-100 or A-100 (Last time I had an A-100 I felt it was too big for me).

I must admit that what happened me with the Mini CQC7 didnt happen me with any other knife. I have it on me or near me 24/7, not carried any other knife than the Mini CQC7 since I've had it. Its not pretty, its not expensive. Its just an awesome tool made to work. Like it ;)

Maybe the CQC-7 full size will be a replacement, I dont know, but for now I can say I found MY folding knife.

My fave is the CQC-45 or ECA 1911 from 2006. I have always loved the handle of the Specwar (my 1st Emerson) and the SOCFK but felt the butt end of the handle could have a little more for my pinky finger to wrap around. The blade of the CQC-12HD really did it for me but I wasn't so keen on the handle. Then the ECA 1911 came along but was sold out before I had the funds to buy one. Time passes and the CQC-45 came into existence from the ECA 1911 model . A few have shown up here and there but were snatched up by others. Finally earlier this year, a retailer had a CQC-45 new from maker and I bought it without hesitation even though price was insane enough for a hand full of standard Emerson model. Since getting it, I wasn't keen on the blasted finish when scratched. I then began looking into making and made my own scales and backspacer for it. Then gave the liners a brushed/satin finish to finish it off to my liking and to match my watch (Ti T-Touch going on 11years). MY holy grail knife. Many more scales to be made for it.

Those are some awesome pictures guys! I only have a Commander and a Super Commander. If I was forced to have to choose I don't think I could..I'd have an easier time leaping into a running wood chipper.

I would probably say the horseman or the 7a but traded them both, but for now it's got to be my Raven. It's the only one I still have and don't see ever parting with it. I would really like to get it converted to an HD or at least micarta.

This.

However, depending on what I'm doing I notice that I tend to carry a specific Emerson even though all are equally tough. On the roof? 15 because that recurve and tanto are a great combo for roofing work (I don't cut shingles with it, but I will cut tar paper and etc with it). 13 and 7 are relegated to campus carry and outside of work.

Even though I have a few really nice Emersons, I wouldn't be able to live without my CQC15.

Specwar A - first Emerson I ever got and love the lines of that knife. Also rotates freely and locks up tight. Not a great fan of the materials of QC of emerson knives, but they do have some great designs.
