Buck 110. Why? It's beautiful and nearly perfect in every way.

The first one is a Cabela's Alaskan Guide in s30v and rosewood. And the second is stock in 440c from around 1972. I've got five more standard models in 440c, 425M and 420HC.

This is the one I use most. It's good looking, not to big/small, it's good for lefties, and fun to play with.

My only one...my newly acquired (as of today, thanks to my GF), ZT 0350 in satin finish.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the Douk-Douk La Sorciere (sp?) is my favourite folder.

It's a slipjoint with a stiff spring that stops the blade in the half-open position, helping prevent injury should you be careless enough to backstroke a slipjoint in use... with enough force to get it that far!

Love the slimness, the Turkish clip, the etching, and the nice patina the carbon steel ones acquire with careful use.

Love the simplicity of the Douk Douk but the Kershaw has it hands down in style. First folder I owned was a Buck 110...damned if I can find it anywhere.

This is my favorite folder type for general EDC:

And this one is a close second. Close enough to barely measure:

Gotta agree with both of these. I now have both in black handle and satin s30v plain edge and I LOVE the design.

My favorite is the 520 presidio though. Best handle ergos of any knife Ive ever held even if the handles take scratches way too easy. I would buy a 522 and carry it to death if it had a swedge (no swedge looks bad on this knife imho). Maybe Ill get a user thats already beat up to carry?

oh and here r pics

Traditional slipjoints of all kinds, particularly ones with yellow handles. Sure, bone is nice and all, and everyone loves a good mother-of-pearl, but there's beauty in those hard-use yeller-handle slipjoints.

I'm fond of Stockman patterns.

But then again trappers have that curve that fits your hand just right.

And there is nothing like a Sodbuster for a solid-feeling knife.

Whittlers are nice. So are peanuts.

I'm not sure that I have a single favorite style.

A strong and light frame lock is my favorite. Either my large Sebenza or SNG DGG are at the top, don't make me choose between the two! :P But I also really like the ZT300 despite the large amount of weight, I really like the assisted opening. None of them are too big for me for EDC, I really like the size of them all.
