What is your favorite neck knife to strip and patina?

I'm just looking for suggestions. I like a plain blade (stripped coating) with a patina that shows it has been used - like character. I'd prefer something with a blade length 2.5-3.25". Handle scales are nice. The ESEE RC-3 is just a little too bulky. Beside the Izula II and Eskabar, what else do you guys/gals like?

Becker BK-11? It's a nice knife, and once you strip the coating off and narrow the edge angle a bit, performance improves a lot.

once you get a proper sheath for it, its hard to beat the Candiru. its a bit smaller than what youre looking for, but is a very capable little knife.
