Anywhere you look this time of year you can see haunts and spooks everywhere. There are pumpkins on everyone's doorstep, ghosts hanging from porches and in windows, candy is being bought by the carts full and there are seasonal stores selling out of costumes and decorations. There are horror movie marathons all over the television and Hocus Pocus is playing nonstop. The Halloween season is by far my favorite time of year. It has been since I was a small child. I just love to get dressed up and have fun. Costume parties, haunted corn mazes, Halloween themes at amusement parks and horror themed attractions of all sorts.

I'm curious who else gets excited about All Hallows Eve. What do you guys look forward to this time of year? What is your favorite thing to do for Halloween? If you dress up, share pictures of your costumes.

It is not very big down here. I spent Halloween 2009 with friends in Tulsa and they went the whole deal, graveyard in the yard, whole house themed out and the costume party (I went as a priest :D ) ...not to mention drinking to excess and eating Peanut Butter Cups for three meals straight (yes I do love those things ;) ) .... one guest at the party actually thought I WAS a priest visiting from Australia...

I'm excited about Halloween because it means it must be time for Jerry to release the

BASIC 8!!!!!

Halloween season means that Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the winter slow-down at work are right around the corner.

That's what I love about Halloween.

I guess it just signals that change of the seasons for me. Seems like the atmosphere changes and I get to break out my warmer clothes and the horror movies Ect. It's probably my favorite month of the year. Just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling!

You can act as F'd up as you want to anywhere/anytime during the week approaching the 31st and just say it's because of Samhain and nobody will call the cops (Usually.;)) and the crazy creativity some possess that only comes out when being demanded for and horror movies being played non-stop.

Shooting pumpkins

And pumpkin pie

Eating...not shooting the pie

I look forward to spending Halloween in California every year! Also, it is a true Holiday for me, I will be celebrating Samhain with great friends this year, I'm very excited.

I'm such a sentimental sucker for the Charlie Brown specials. Already been watching the Great Pumpkin with the kids. Then next month the Thanksgiving one,, then pretty much for the whole month of December I have the music from the Christmas special on in my house. Right about January 1 I get "Enough with the Charlie Brown music!!!"

Being a fat kid, I have always been most fond of the candy. Also means the leaves are falling and more shooting lanes open up from the tree stand.

Two years ago my answer would've been "grown women wearing slutty costumes", but now it's watching my daughter light up everytime a door opens and someone is standing there with a big bucket of candy.

Rob, you are a man of diverse talents. Not many men with nightmares like the illustration above rattling around in their heads follow with...

"One day Rob decided to write and illustrate Magnificent Murray to share the simple joys and love a giant dog like Murray can bring into one’s life.

Rob plans to make Magnificent Murray a series of children’s books with stories based around love, kindness and friendship with a few cliche ‘big dog-isms’ thrown in."

Both cool in their own way.
