I currently only have one balisong...A BM42. I was wondering what other peoples' favorites to flip were and why. I only have my one, so can't compare to others. Does blade and handle length make a difference? Like for some of the guys with bigger hands (Clay, Blasto) they can swing the thing like a mo-fo. The speed is amazing! So does blade and handle length play into that speed? If they do, what are some of the "better" knives that will last and will flip well? Has the BM 3" started shipping yet?

What do you think...

I enjoy flipping my 43. The handles could be a bit heavier, but not SS or Jaguar heavy. Other than that, I love it.

If you ever get a chance to flip a PC or a BM Custom you will understand why I dislike the ti handles so much. Steel is a lot easier to control for aerials. Just my opinion you understand. The original 40 series is pretty good, I just prefer the size of the Custom handles. I have big hands and I like big handles. But since the steel is no longer made, I carry a 42. Can't take the chance of loosing my Customs. Can't replace them.

My BM42. When I discover it, I definitely prefered the lighter handles. I understand those who says that heavier means more interty... but I don't know, I prefer having a light bali when flipping.

It used to be any of the latchless BM Customs. And the Tachyon is still ultra smooth. But my favorite flipper as of today is the 40T. I'm flipping it with abandon. No edge to cut, no point to stab.... Pure fun :D :D :D

I really don't have many knives to compare (one FHM (or replica, not sure), one CCC, and a Jaguar), and from those I've tried, I must say that the Jaguar is the best. But now i only have that FHM alike left, and it's really not a good flipper. But it's the only one i have, so it will have to do, until i get my BM42a...

I'm getting there  ...the lighter handles are feeling better.., but I still like the old customs the best...

I haven't got my 40T's yet. I ordered a bunch of 'em.., but I'm sure it will be fun for "Reckless Abandonment"...
