I've never used a ZT, but I want to get one. I'll be using it mostly for EDC in a pocket. I handled an 0200 and an 0300 recently, and they seemed like they might be too thick to carry comfortably, but like I said I've never actually had one. So maybe you guys can help me. What's your favorite model?

ZT 0561, but if edc is your game and the 0200/0300 were too large for you pick up a 0350. its 10-15% (can't remember exactly) smaller model of the 0300.

kershaw guy sells blems of them for a great price

My favorite is my 0200. I love my 0300, but the 0200 I just like better. More of a style thing I guess. Neither, for me, are too large and heavy, but I tend to gravitate toward large knives. I don't have a 550/551 or a 0350 but I'll bet they are solid too.

I have a 0350 combo edge and a 0200 plain edge.

The 0200 is a beast and in the best possible way. When I got the 0350 I felt like it was the first high quality knife I had owned. Nothing else seemed as stout and the blade was razor sharp.

I just recently got my 0200 from another member on here and it's my new favorite ZT by far.

Right now it's the ZT0561 only down side is i got a bad case of Fliptitis, i just can't stop. Great stress relief though.

My ZT0350SW is my go-to EDC. The only time I dont wear this knife is at work and only because I use my Spyderco Zulu as my work knife, we are not supposed to have knives at work so because the Zulu is my smallest knife it is the only one I take to work. The ZT0350SW is perfect for me, its small enough to not even notice Im wearing it, yet big enough to use for just about anything. It is also extremely comfortable in the hand. I was looking to get a ZT200, but when I felt how slim, light, and comfortable the ZT0350 was I had to get it. The jimping is also perfect, it just feels secure as hell. BUT the ZT0350 is the only model of ZT I ever had, but I did have three, the stonewashed version is just my favorite. Good Luck!

my 550 is used constantly while at work. breaking down everything from boxes to beef and fish. helping food prep when one of the other workers takes my chef knife:mad:. 006.jpg

0780 without a doubt!

+1 ! The 0780 is my current EDC favorite. I think you can still find them out there, though if you are thinking about getting one, don't wait too long, as the prices are sure to go up soon because of the limited quantities of production.
I also have a ZT0350ST. I like it a lot, but I haven't carried it much. I haven't handled the any of the other ZT's, so I can't speak to size comparison from personal experience, but from the comparison pictures that I have seen, if the 0200/0300/0560 are just a touch too big, then the 0350 might be just the size you want. Like has been said before, Kershawguy.com is the place to go for great deals on ZT and Kershaw.

I'd have to say the 0550/1 or 0560/1 are my two favorites. They're just solid and great all around knives.
I've owned several ZT's and those two come out on top.
However I did EDC a ZT 0301 for quite a while and loved it dearly, it is a great knife. I never really found it too big, just wish you could de-assist it like you can the 350. I love the manual flipping action on bigger knives for some reason, so the 0200 was amazing and my ZT 0560 is a close companion to me.
But I also just love a manual folder so the 0550/1 worked as well.

It all depends on your preference.
Do you like large beefy knives? If yes, you can't go wrong with the ZT 0200, 0300, 0550, or 0560.
Would you prefer a large beefy knife with manual action? If yes, ZT 0200, 0550, 0560.
Would you prefer a large beefy knife with Assisted opening? If yes, 0300.
Would you like a thinner less space consuming ZT? If yes, get an 0350 or you can still pick up the 0400.

ZT's I've owned:
ZT 0200
ZT 0301
ZT 0350
ZT 0400
ZT 0551
ZT 0560

Any one you go with will be an excellent choice.

I've owned most of the ZT's, and 3 or 4 of some of them. My all around favorite is the 0550! It fits my hand the most comfortably and offers the best compromise of carrying comfort/blade size for how I EDC. I recently flipped a Les George VECP because I felt I like the 0550 I already had better, it's just an awesome frame lock and so smooth.

The newest version of the 0550 with the deep carry clip and reversed lock cut out looks really sweet!
