I know that the new HOG inductions have received mixed reviews but I am extremely proud, honored, and grateful to be in this elite group of knife enthusiasts. :thumbup::thumbup:

In my short couple years of buying and using Busse blades there are two HOGS that have reached out a helping hand to me. These guys went out of their way to help me without knowing anything about me other than my forum name. And for that I am greatly appreciative. Who are these two helpful HOGS?

Jaxx (Alex) and Jroden5446 [(Jared)also a Dog;)]

They may not even remember helping me out, but I sure do. I think these two guys have exhibited true HOGness, which I hope to duplicate in my future years as a HOG. Thanks Alex and Jared! :thumbup: :thumbup:

I am hoping to get to Knob Creek early this year to meet some of you guys. But until then, I really don't know all of you HOG's or your HOG name. So if it's cool, I'd like to know who's a HOG, and what's your "given name"?

I have been given the name, "13stripsofbacon", which I think is really cool. 13 is my luck number, and I love bacon! :D :thumbup::thumbup:

I'm embarrassed to say that I don't remember at the moment...but I'm very happy to have helped and to have left a positive impression on you of Busse and those of us who gather 'round the Trough. Congratulations on your induction into HOGdom! Take the information given freely, learn it well, teach the newer HOGs who come, and pass the knowledge and love on to others for these great knives. :):thumbup:

13StripsOfBacon, my HOG name, given to me in 2007 by the Bossman when I was tapped on the shoulder with the the Induction knife (a "gold" AK-47) and shook the Man's hand at the Induction dinner on June 9th, is:

In my drunken state at Blade 2010, Jerry announced me as Ham67 with a satin Gladius.
 
I think my HOG name is "Hog Python"
Given to me by Jerry and tapped on the shoulders with a Satin Gladius at Blade 2010.
It was great to meet the man and shake his hand. He is a really down to earth type of guy. ;)
 
With a swing of the Gladius @ Blade 2010,,,
SUMNRFAM, became "SUMNRHAM" :D:D
 
What's a Hog name? :confused::confused::confused:
 
Dblbacon45, Amy made me very happy that day. It was about a year and a half ago for me I believe.
