A quick and dirty IQ test

My result:

Your IQ Is 125

Your Logical Intelligence is Above Average
Your Verbal Intelligence is Genius
Your Mathematical Intelligence is Genius
Your General Knowledge is Exceptional

I've been measured at 130 so it is quite accurate! Not so sure about the comments, though.

It's not an accurate test. My verbal inteligence is far from great in english (don't know so many words, that is). Some questions are discutable at best ... like the dime and nickle thing (narrow context and vague). The mathematical stuff was pretty obvious.
I must dig in my computer at office, I had there a link to a REALLY good IQ test ... lots of questions (takes at least 30 minutes if you go fairly fast), most of them based on logic and general knowledge . Far from most IQ tests I saw, which are more like english grammar and vocabulary tests.
 
IQ=133. Facts Curator, highly intelligent, remarkable vocabulary, excellent math skills, same class as Bill Gates. Hmmm, why's Bill so much smarter than me? This is in line with other IQ test results I've taken over the years. I've had five tests, including this one, and I average out to about 138. There were a couple of questions that confounded me on this test. ie; Joe likes 400, but not 300, he likes 100, but not 99, he likes 1000, but not 900, which does Joe like? Who figured that out?

If it was 10000 and not 1000 I'd say he likes perfect squares...

Are you sure about he likes 1000 and not 900 (which is 30^2)?

No, I'm not so sure about the "likes 1000, but not 900," but I'm pretty sure. I might have a fair IQ, but I never did have much of a memory. There was no question on my test about dimes and nickles. That's curious. :confused:

How could one know the answer about dimes and nickels without knowing the volume of each coin?

At the top of the "Quick & dirty" test page, there is a link to a more sophisticated test. No nickels in that one.
