I have several that are beautiful, none of them custom, alas.

The most beautiful one is probably my Buck 110 Alaskan from Cabela's. I haven't yet decided
if I'm going to remove the decal. What do you think?

The lock, and everything else, is beautifully polished.

The coating is some sort of titanium oxide,
I think, which gives it a luxurious luster.

The other contender, I reckon, is my Bear Damascus. Like the Buck, the construction is first rate and all the metal
parts (save the blade) are polished. It's not the most beautiful Damascus, but it's the most beautiful I have!

I'm sure some of you can blow these away, so let's see your best.

Victorinox Swiss Champ. I don't need to post a picture, do I? I think people know what they look like.

A triumph of functional design.

....yea I know I had it in the for sale thread.I'm glad it didn't sell.I said the pocket clip got kinda bent outwards, but it works well enough with jeans.

I agree, the Alaskan Guide Buck 110 is one beautiful knife!

I think that you should remove the decal if you plan to carry and use the knife.
But if you're going to keep it locked up as a collector's piece, then leave the decal.

My most beautiful knife, is one of my Matt Cucchaiara Mini Scrappers; the one with the Damascus blade, w/ the Gecko & Dolphin engraving.

My wife went to Turkey a few years ago and she asked me what I wanted. I said, "How about just a cheap display knife?" Well, she doesn't like knives, but she grudgingly promised she'd "see" (doesn't that always mean no?). A few weeks later she gets back and gives me this "thing" that looks like a gay sultan's dagger. It had fake gems and pearls embedded in it with red felt inlays and a wooden sheath that matched the handle. I put it in a drawer somewhere and eventually gave it away to some kid. The blade was cheap brass with acid etchings. So that's the last knife I've ever sent her out for. Oh, and she thinks this website is an incredible waste. Why would someone want to have more than one knife to carry? Much less, who would want to leave messages about it?

Here's some more photos of my Bear Damascus. I have no idea how good or bad the blade is, but Bear seems to have a pretty good name. And there knives are sure purty!

And this one is a teeny Bear with a teeny blade.

BTW, AllenC, how'd you get the decal off? Just curious.

I used a razor blade and some MAAS metal polish.
I posted on a thread in the Buck forum....maybe someone could do a search in the Buck forum and post a link?

I would leave it. The Buck 110, even those from the Custom shop, are mass-produced by the thousands. The Alaskan logo looks nice, and is something that helps set your's apart from everyone elses'.

Most beautiful knife, I couldn't possibly pick just one. But this is the most beautiful knife I've purchased recently:

Tough to pick only one, but I'll go with the Begg Zodiac. Always thought the profile was rather sexy and I find a lot of beauty in knives that are clean and straightfoward.

My Kreined Kershaw Blue Bump is the top one for me, at the moment, followed by the Kershaw Tyrade.

I'll see if I have a pic of them together.

I have several of these Wendell Carson Fightin Bull trappers but I think this one is my favorite and my most beautiful knife.
