im just curious to what everyone wants. i just want to see which is the " most wanted " and maybe give me some ideas on future buys. im saving up for my first benchmade " mini-rukus "
I just bought a Byrd Cara Cara and a Kershaw Mini-Cyclone. The Mini-Cyclone is a gift for someone. The Byrd is roughly the same size as my BM710 and therefore easy to carry. Suprising Quality. I got the g-10 handle version and used it yesterday in the kitchen on veggies and it worked great.
I also ordered a BM Mini-Rukus but it is back ordered. Love the Axis lock!
My next choice would be a Spyderco Keating Chinook III, flat ground. I wouldn't mind getting a Mini-Cyclone for myself, either. The quality and price are great.
"Most liked/favorite" may be different than "next purchase" simply because the person may already own their favorite blade or they may not be purchasing their favorite until later.
My last score was a Busse Mud Skeleton Warden. My next will be a CF BG42 Military and maybe a Yojimbo or Mini Rukus after that.
I'm torn between caving and throwing down on a Byrd G10 (just got a Native S30V so I cant really justify another EDC lockback), or saving up for a BM42... I've also toyed with the idea of a strop, but I'm going to hold off until I get home and just pick up some CrO compoud and use it on one of my numerous old weight belts... Really like those Byrd's in G10 though.
BTW, anybody know the dimensions on the screws to a Cheetah bali? (yes, I did post that in the bali forum not but a few minutes ago)
There are two options. Bradley Mayhem or the Bark River Bravo 1. As Bark River isn't saying when the Bravo will really be available, the Mayhem may win out.
I ordered / bought 2 hours ago a Canal Street Drop Point Hunter. "Personalized" This is the first knife I will own that will have my initials on it. I hope I like it. I own Canal Street Trapper and Congress knives currently and am very happy with the fit and finish and the blades as well. Sharp enough all to cut a cool breeze. I can't believe I bought a personalized knife. Hope it doesn't look tacky in person. Next will be a Skyblade folder.
OH!!! I also ordered a Hunter by Lin Rhea...won't be made until 2008 due to his workload.
