what is your widest fixed blade?

it's funny, 2" doesn't seem like a whole lot, but I sketched out a 5" blade at that width, and it looks crazy huge. Even my big chef's knives aren't that wide. Anyone have something other than cleavers and khuks that are >1.5"?

Yes. I have a Frost Grizzly Skinner that is a little wider than 1-1/2". It's a pretty nice knife despite Frost's reputation. I don;t know what kind of steel it is, the blade just says "surgical steel" and I think it's from Japan. I got it as a gift from my bro-in-law several years ago.

I have to say that the RTAK2 is probably the widest I own. I took this pic right after I got in some new stock before they went out at the request of a person on another forum. I own all these knives personally as well, but the users aren't as pretty as the virgins.

156 CSK in the mail, I would estimate about 1" so it's not really huge. But for a 6" blade its about right.
