Well it's stretching the limits a bit I think, but I still want one!

Okay, so the PlasmaBeam maybe the brightest "personal" spotlight.

At 7 Million CP, It's on my wish list after here about reliability problems with the MaxaBeam.

Xenonics NightHunter is meant to be a really good light. Someone in the SureFire Forum suggested them a while back...

Does anyone know what the Xenonics NightHunter is rated at in terms of brightness? I went through their entire website and saw no references whatsoever as to how bright (i.e. candlepower, lumens, etc.) its supposed to be...

I think I read it was 3 million CP.

BUT
Most CP ratings are wildly inaccurate and should never be used to compare flashlight outputs.

I've seen some searchlights with "2 million CP" which are shockingly poor in beam quality and output. My SureFire M3T with 105Lu N2 Lamp beats them and is a fraction of the size and weight.

So what I'm saying is, just because it maybe 3 million CP, it doesn't mean that some cheapo million CP searchlight will be in the same league...
