ya'll might be wonderin' what I've been doin' lately, then again ya'll may not- either way I don't really care. Below are a few schrades I have embellished since my last visit to the forum, sometime last year.
Most of these have been sold to collectors, I've doine alot for people that weren't schrade too.

897UH, custom single blade with elk stag

Schrade 93OT(not sure on that model #) with custom peach pit handle and mirror polished blades.

custom 77OT improved muskrat (my fav schrade) mirror polished blades and gaboon ebony.

This is the first 136 I done, pinned desert ironwood handles, brass lined lanyard hole, filework and reshaped blade.

this is the second one I done on order for a guy in AZ, this blade retained the factory finish and etch, it got the same treatment as the first one.

thats just a few for ya'll to look at, open to comments and/or questions

Muskrat Man,
That is one fine looking hawkbill!!! In fact I think it's the finest I've ever seen! I've never been a fan of that style till just now, you should put a few of those on the web, be the Herman Williams of hawkbills. That elk stag 897 is also a beauty. With the embargoes on sambar stag I would think that more makers would get into this material.
Great Job! And yes, I think quite a few of us were wondering what you were up to, your presence has definitely been missed.
Eric

Glad to have you back here! I've missed seeing your work. You've become quite accomplished with the filework since I last saw your knives! Not to mention your polishing and wood fitting. Nice!

Thanks for showing them!

Michael

thanks glad to see someone enjoyed seeing them. Here are a couple non schrades that I have done with some filework.

Without a doubt, those are some hard working hands unafraid of some mighty fine work.

IIRC, while Kaleb is a slippie fan, he has also done some nice work on a few fixed blades as well. For the new folks here who have come on board recently, MM is a teen (get that driver's license yet MM?:D ) whose father was/is a knife maker of some renown. No, Dad didn't do these knives, as you can see by the young man's hands. I don't doubt that he has been given some expert pointers though.

Michael

now if I could just get him to rehandle a 165 for me.....

You've been progressing nicely, MM! I remember some of your first stuff; Keep up the good work!!

thanks guy. And thanks for the intro Michael, it's Kaleb, not Kevin :). Got my temps, but we have 8" of snow only been on a practice run twice and I ain't settin' out into the wild blue yonder yet. I'm still making knives too, can't remember if I showed these or not?
