These are just a collection of knives I've completed over the last month or there bouts. Most are my fixed blade EDC's that have been pretty popular. I've also completed my first folding knife and I've had my first knife engraved. I'm almost right at six months since I completed my first knife while in Johnny Stout's Basic Knifemaking class and I am super happy with the way things are progressing. I'll be heading back down for Johnny's Fine Folders class in February and then I'll have a table at the Little Rock show right after. There is not a day that goes by that I am not completely excited about knifemaking!

Coming along nicely there, Mr. Ranger Bob!

Some of the blades look a little short in relation to the handle length, to my eyes....and it looks like the primary bevel on the blackwood model might have been a little thick.

Engraving nickel silver never made sense to me, as the metal requires too much rubbing to avoid patina...but that is personal preference and is what makes a horserace.

Overall, I am very impressed.

Bob,
BEAUTIFUL KNIVES.
It shows in Your Work that You Love what You do.

Thank you Tim.

STeven, I really appreciate the feedback. The blades on all the EDC's are 3-1/8 with an overall length of 7-1/8" so, the blades are shorter than the handles for sure. I do think they look better balanced in person so perhaps I need to be more careful with my photography. The primary edge on the black G10 knife was indeed thicker. Nick Wheeler had pointed this out to me and I've been working on getting them thinner. That is really the difference between .010" and .020" final thickness which ends up only being .005" per side. Pretty good chance I wouldn't have attempted a folder yet had you not prodded me on a previous post so, thanks. I really enjoyed the challenge and am already working on some others.
