On another board I post on a guy was doing a sort of sharpening tutorial. He showed the ability of a Scandi he sharpened to split hairs. Also he suggested you should not over polish and "round off " the final bevel as it will not work well in wood.
So as a recent convex convert I just had to.
Only ten passes on some 1000 grit on a foam pad with a quick strop on my cargo pants,had the edge of my EDC showing the reflections of the pines in my backyard.
Not really a polishing job, but hey, it can split hairs like a Scandi.
