What kind is this sword?

A wakizashi from Pakistan?
Basically. It's a cheap Chinese, Indian, or Pakistani knife. Not much to say about it. Mass-produced, low-quality tourist souvenir. Don't attempt to cut anything with it. If it's possible to take it apart, you could get some idea of how well made of a tourist souvenir it is, though. If you see a skinny rat-tail stick tang that's been brazed or welded on at the ricasso, well, that'd tell you everything you need to know.

I wouldn't even call it a replica since it is only vaguely Japanese. I would say Japanese inspired piece from... somewhere or other. Probably third world where such things can be made cheaply. I agree that it's nothing valuable and probably non-functional as well.

Not even remotely Japanese in style, handle, fittings, pommel. I would not even go so far as to call it Japanese inspired.
It is clearly mainland Asia, probably Chinese including central asia.
No idea if it is a "replica" of any real weapon or not.
