Masting axe it is. If the bit was offset to one side or the other it would have meant it was a broad axe, but as it’s symmetrical I’d say it’s a masting axe.
I would call it a carpentry axe and be done with it, putting it to use primarily for hewing - you will be able to get a nice scalloped surface effect in the best traditions of northern Europe and beyond with that one. It will be very friendly in use especially if you don't have a lot of hewing time under that belt of yours but more than hewing alone such an axe is good for other joinery work in timber framing like chopping out rabbits for your door and windows. The centrally mounted handle along with double bevel edge making it universal and the double lug configuration superfluous.
