I asked the same question a while back and wound up finding a pretty decent Fillipino (if that's spelled wrong, it's due to my danged ISP) Balisong.
Unfortunately, I can't find my original post, otherwise I'd pass along the URL from where I got mine.
Anyways, there's a Balisong Forum here, so your best best would be to ask the question over there. I noticed the 2 posts you've made and I'm always happy to help out a newbie..... and tell them that I'm the smarterest guy here, no matter what the other jealous types say. Oh, and I'm also the handsomest/beautifulest (You oughta see Lorena!!), too!!

I wrote most of that at work after drinking massive amounts of coffee. I needed to look busy and that dribbled out of my head. There's also a whole bunch of Optical Illusions.

The Bali VG is talking about (and He's well worth his fee) is a Perfecto De Leon. Not too bad as far as Philippine balis go. You can see one at www.knifezilla.com
As for the 42, I've had mine since April and love them. They've taken a LOT of abuse in that short time, and have held up great.
