The Jolly Fat Guy is about to do his 'round the world toy giving thing. I have been trying to figure out what kind of steel he'll be packing for the trip. It has to be something strong to cut through TV antenna wire, clothes lines and leather reins if the reindeer need some repair work. I'm thinking it's probably a fixed blade. It also can't be too big so as not to frighten any sleepless children. He also might need to use it to cut various and sundry cakes, pies and cheeses the kids leave out. Plus it can't be too unweildy or he won't get down the chimney. Neck knife carry makes the most sense since the area right below his chin has a smaller circumference than his middle.
It's gotta be durable too. He doesn't have a lot of time to whip the sharpening stone out and touch up the edge. Talonite would do the trick. Now I figure Santa must have won the lottery or something to have the cash for all that toy giving. He probably isn't a wild spender, but has enough dough and enough experience to know that a good custom might give him the best value for the dollar.
I think Santa carries a custom Talonite Pikuni in a Kydex necker from the Honorary Elf, Rob Simonich. After all, Montana is right up there near the North Pole and Rob's cowboy boots are pointy like elf shoes
What do y'all think?
