What kind of Buck 500 do I have?

I came across a forgotten Buck 500 while going through some stuff at my parents' house. I'm pretty sure I bought it back in the mid-90s. Anybody know what handle material this is? It looks like some kind of jigged bone. Any info would be appreciated. Here are some pics:

Welcome to the Buck forum. That is a very nice Duke 500 jigged bone; there have been about four of that knife sell on ebay in the last 6 months. They are selling for $90.00 - $100.00. If you ever want to sell it drop me a line :).

Thanks for the info. I'm not necessarily looking to sell, just wasn't familiar with Buck knives. My 110 from this era, which happened to be stored in its sheath, didn't fare as well as the 500. The brass bolsters were green with corrosion, which wiped off, but now they're kind of discolored.

apply some Flitz or Brasso to the bolsters.

1993 110,still looks in very good shape...she should clean up just fine with the brasso or flitz.
 
1993 ahhh was a good year... jest moved to wv and got a old girl friend back ..yea thoes were the days, got a new buck that year for my birthday too, black sheath silver botton a -110- !
buck knives have a way of bring back good memories...
oh yea and welcome to the buck forum! i am crasy dave ask any of the guy or gals here ... glad to make your aqueantance! come back rit-chear sit a spell and watch the blinking lights on das computttten machine... talk buck and waht ever elst strikes ya to say....
