What kind of car is this?

I just know there is someone out there who knows what kind of car this is. I would like to know make, model, etc.
It was my grandfather's car, and this picture was taken in the late 50's early 60's. I am using this picture as my avatar, and I just want to know a little about it.

thanks - I was thinking it might be a Buick because I see what looks like 5 letters across the front grill.

Obviously a Buick, note portholes; can't get picture to open but think 50-53 is probably right time frame; they had Dynaflow transmissions which were sloooow and most had straight 8's as I recall.
