Asking for a value on it requires a higher (paid) membership level on your part. It's sort of a give and take thing, you support the forum, the forum supports your inquiries that might help you make a sale. That being said, if you google the knife's designation you might very well find some prior sales and go from there if you rather do your own research. As for cleaning it up, I would say it looks quite clean and I wouldn't go at it in any harsh way that might ruin the finish. Perhaps contact Walter Brend if you need information on that, he might refinish knives, which could be worth the expense. I don't know if he serializes his knives.

It's Walter Brend, his Logo is pretty distinctive.
