In the picture, you see a finished neck knife above, and a work in progress below.
They both started out with the same profile. However, the one below kept evolving as I kept grinding and filing it. Now it is turning into something totally different from what I intended. Does it look like a carving knife or some kind of specialty knife? I don't quite know what to make of it.
It is about 5/32" thick, and cpm154.
Anyway, after I finish it, I'll take it into the woods, backpacking, and see how it works.
I just wanted to know if it looks like any kind of knife in particular. I assume there are lots of people here who have a broader knowledge of knives than I do.
